FAM10 - 5th and 6th October 2010

Following the success of FAM09, JANET and JISC are pleased to announce that they have come together to run FAM10 - the event to discuss federated identity and access management within the UK. 

Some of the areas that delegates can look forward to hearing about this year include:

• Detailed overview of the progress made in the school's sector to adopt federated access management;
• Interfederation use cases, including links to the Government Gateway to allow parental access to schools data;
• Detailed technical information for advanced programmers;
• Update on JISC Services for accounting and statistical management;
• Updates on identity management, user management and licence management;
• International speakers on areas such as Kantara, Shibboleth and Gartner;
• Service updates from the UK federation.

The event will include exhibits from a range of services involved in federated access management.

This event is free for all attendees.  The costs of accommodation can be covered for this event for people within the public sector.  Other attendees will be asked to cover their own accommodation costs.
